Scarborough's very own Veronica Javier is a Social Worker, educator, and community organizer. She's a Chairperson on the Filipino-Canadian Civic Action Network, leading the strategic direction of Filipino/a/x civic engagement across Canada. Featured in the prominent "Love, Scarborough" campaign, she's also been working at Scarborough Health Network for almost 15 years. 

Veronica's been a tremendous example of what it looks like to build a Scarborough that works for everyone. Brick by brick, she's been showing up and showing out in her community, which is why we are so excited that we'll be doing a joint canvass with her on Wed, July 8.
